Dog Day Out
Treat your Fido to a grand day out with our trainer while your at work. Our trainer will customize an enrichment program to physically and mentally stimulate your dog. Your dog will also get plenty of opportunities to play and interact off lead with other dogs in a controlled and safe environment. With plenty of photo opportunities along the way.
We offer a free pick up and drop off service, for Ashburton clients only.

TREK & TRAIN
Strengthen Core Skills
We introduce tools and tricks to develop a well mannered companion. This program is designed to educate your dog on skills such as loose lead walking, self control around distractions, social settling behaviour and managing anxieties. Leave your dog in the capable hands of our qualified trainer to teach core behaviours with a holistic approach. Once your dog is performing consistently we will teach your family how to maintain your dogs good behaviours.

VIDEO AND PHONE CONSULTATION
From anywhere in New Zealand
Receive personalized care from your online instructor in the privacy of your own home. Our behaviour expert will support you in building your skills and working with your dog to help realize your goals.
Our trainer is available to offer advice on purchasing a new puppy, behaviour modification, nutrition, home behaviour and problem solving.

HOME BASED TRAINING
Happy Hound, Happy Home
Want to fine tune your dogs home behaviour or instill appropriate behaviour in your new puppy?
We offer a customized training program to modify behaviours such as separation anxiety, chewing, barking, jumping up and other destructive behaviours. We also offer advice and support with your new puppy including crate training, toilet training, feeding and general puppy socialization guidelines. This is a one on one program designed to enhance the bond you share with your pet and to develop a calm, sensible and worry free dog in your home.

Join us in our training sessions with our expert dog trainer to strengthen your skills and confidence. You will see the change in your dog from the get-go.
Simply put, our training works!
Learn how to effectively communicate with your dog with the use of positive reinforcement. Our trainer will conduct an initial assessment to identify your training goals and together we will develop a training plan to meet your dogs specific needs.
We can work on tasks such as lead work, distractions, recall, obedience and any other areas of your choice. An ongoing training plan will be developed so you can continue on the path to success.

GROUP TRAINING
Interactive Training
We schedule regular group training sessions for puppies and adult dogs alike. These sessions focus on tasks such as lead work, obedience, distractions, cafe settling and off lead recall. Our positive and consistent approach produces success. These sessions are interactive and fun and will include challenges and games to keep you and your pooch on your paws!
Maximum 5 dogs per group.

STAY & TRAIN
Intensive Training
This program is especially designed for dogs that require intensive round the clock training. We specialize in problematic home behaviour, obedience training, off lead recall, lead work, puppy/ dog rehabilitation, anxieties and trick training. This program ranges in length from 1-4 weeks depending on your training requirements.

DOG HOME STAY
Home Away from Home
Are you and your family going away and need a second home for your dog to stay? Our trainer has limited availability to take care of your dog in her home. We provide a home away from home. A calm and safe environment for your dog while your away. During their stay your dog will be provided with enrichment and socialization to keep them mentally and physically stimulated.
Note: Availability is limited so get in fast!

CANINE COOPERATIVE CARE
We train your dog to be a willing participant in husbandry and veterinary procedures.
All pet owners need to perform basic husbandry tasks regularly. Such as nose to tails health checks, ear and teeth cleaning, brushing, vet visits etc. Cooperative care involves training your dog to be a willing participant in these tasks. During this program we train a relaxed chin rest, lie on side, relaxed restraint, wearing a muzzle, foot handling, mouth observation, taking medication, injections, eye and ear exams. We train your dog that they can communicate with us when they are ready to start, when they need a break, when they need to slow down and when they need to stop. We teach your dog they have a choice. Ultimately cooperative care develops a relaxed, confident and trusting dog during husbandry tasks and veterinary procedures.
